Massage Services
& What to Expect at your Appointment
At Fluid Fibers Massage, sessions are booked by time, rather than by massage “type.” Choose anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes (in 15-minute increments), and we’ll shape the work around what your body needs that day.
My work blends a variety of techniques to meet your body where it is. While my foundation is in Swedish massage, I weave in neuromuscular and muscle-specific work, focused trigger point release, myofascial techniques, sports massage, and prenatal and postpartum work. Sessions are fluid and responsive rather than rigidly defined — I pull from whatever tools make the most sense for your goals, comfort, and the way your tissues are presenting that day.
We’ll begin our session with a quick intake conversation: a chance to check in about anything you noted in your health history form, how you're feeling, and what you’re hoping to get out of the session. From there, I’ll shape the work to match your needs - whether that’s focused therapeutic work, something more flowing and relaxing, or a blend of both.
During the massage, we may chat briefly to check in or collaborate, depending on our goals. Afterward, we’ll take a moment to talk about what we found, how your body is responding, and any follow-up care or next steps. Then we’ll handle payment, and you’re on your way — hopefully feeling a bit more spacious and at home in your body.

Insurance note:
While I’m not in-network with insurance, I can provide a Superbill. This is essentially a fancy receipt with any relevant information your insurance carrier would need. If your plan offers out-of-network massage reimbursement, you can submit it to them. If you're unsure, it’s always worth calling your insurer to check your benefits.
